Scared I have bowel cancer

Hi everyone,

It all started with been constipated, and then lead to having lower left abdominal dull ache, and my lower back aching to! It then went to diareah, and loose stools, felt like I had a acid in my throat! Had my blood tests done and all come back fine accept for my B12 which was 153 and my Vitamin D which is 21! over the past week, I feel like my head has so much pressure and feel so tired and loss of energy and breathless, I've also had a massive unknown bruise on my right and left leg! Feel so fatigue all the time, passing gas all the time, my stomach and abdomen makes so many noises all the time, I'm so scared because all this leads to digestive problems and I keep thinking it's cancer? I'm so scared, I'm 29 years old, and suffer with really bad anxiety and depression, anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks

  • Hello Jamiedean91,

reading your post l got the impression that you are placing an awful lot of pressure upon yourself, and people seriously, and l mean really seriously underestimate the health implications and damage that increased stress can place upon a body and how that manifests itself in what looks at first sight as completely unrelated issues. Its such an obvious thing that is right under our noses, but somehow our minds tell us our vision should focus on looking for something else in the distance as being the potential problem.Certainly stress goes to the head and the gut.The placebo effect is well enough documented and l have experienced instances on a large scale in the past that validate that,if the mind thinks the body is being treated and therefore healed,it becomes so.My previous experience was with pigs, whose physiology bears close comparison in some aspects with humans, and when you are dealing with several thousand on one site, you can readily witness the effects of stress and placebo, the overiding conclusion being was that if you kept them happy and content, health issues were never a problem, but my goodness if unhappy and stressed, all hell broke loose.

Thats my twopennyworth, but the only way you can verify this is to live without anxiety for a while and compare the before and after l guess,l hope things improve for you,
