That's a long time to have to wait so I understand why you would want to check the status for your referral. Perhaps you could try and ring your GP in the first instance and ask them whether they know what has happened to your referral and whether they have the number of the hospital that you need to ring? Your doctor will be able to point you in the right direction I think to help you chase this referral. 

I hope that you will meet others who have been in the same position of having to wait this long for a referral and that they will share their experience with you.
