This is my first post here so please be gentle.

2 weeks ago I visited my doctor as I've had a lump in my Vulva for around 6 months which has grown from a pea size to around 6cm in size with some discolouration and thickening of the skin. Stupidly I ignored this as I was worried about going to a hospital due to covid but it got to the point I couldn't ignore it anymore.

The doctor tried me on some antibiotics incase it was an infection but wasn't convinced it would help. Got a follow up call and there is no change after the antibiotics and as a result they are referring me to the gynaecologist under an urgent 2 week wait as they want a biopsy carrying out due to the "unusual presentation".

I'm terrified. I'm only 34 so I know the statistics work in my favour but I can't help worry anyway. I'm scared it will hurt, I'm worried I'll have to go alone due to covid and I'm scared in case the results are bad.

No point in posting here really really but I know there will be some going through similar so can sympathise
