Hi all! So 4 weeks ago today whilst at work I noticed a lump above my collar bone the size of a grape. I had no signs of illness prior to this. Contacted the doctor immediately who prescribed me antibiotics and booked me in for a blood test the next day! The results all came back normal so he told me to wait 3 weeks and if it hadn't gone down to call back and they would send me for scans etc. The lump is still the same size but now I also have a smaller one next to it (the size of a pea) one harder than the other but they both move around! The antibiotics did nothing but make me feel unwell! Had dizziness, nausea and I just generally felt under the weather! I'm only 26 and a mother to a 7 year old little girl. I'm petrified that this is going to be something bad, especially as it doesn't seem to be going anywhere! I have to wait for an appointment for a scan and X-ray but the anxiety is getting the better of me! All the information I've found regarding lumps on the collar bone seem to indicate something serious. Guess I would just like some reassurance and was wondering if anybody has had the same that has turned out to be ok in the end? Hope to hear back from somebody soon! Xx
