About 2/3 weeks ago I noticed a very small almost pin head sized hard sort of lump/growth on top of my testicle very close to epydidymas. I have found some lumps before but not actually on the testicle and have had these diagnosed via ultrasound as epydidymal cysts so my mind was put to rest. Now that I have found this pin head hard growth I am absolutely petrified that it is testicular cancer. Like a lot of people i turned to Dr Google and now have convinced myself that it is 100% testicular cancer and it will need to be removed which sounds terrifying to me. Becuase the small lump feels like it is actually on the testicle itself, i don't seem to be able to find anything online stating that when a lump is on the testicle itself that it is anything other than testicular cancer.

I have an ultrasound booked for 3 days time and don't know how to ease my anxiety about this. I have had to take days off of work due to the anxiety being so bad I can't function. Is it possible that this small lump actually on the testicle is anything else or is it most likely the worst case scenario?

Any personal experiences with something similar (even if it was worse case scenario) would be very much appreciated!
