Hi everyone,
My boyfriend had an endoscopy last week, and a tumour was discovered in his esophagus which the doctor said he had never seen the type of before. Some biopsies were taken and the doctor said that either way, this tumour would have to be removed, so he would put him on the urgent list for a few scans.
His CT scan is tomorrow, but he has now received a call to go and see the doctor who performed the endoscopy and biopsy last week - a couple of hours before his CT scan. I am absolutely terrified and wondering if there's any hope other than what we don't want to hear. Could it be a case that the doctor wants to advise him of good biopsy results and perhaps explain the surgical procedure more, or am I grasping at straws?
Really don't know how we will both cope this evening. We are worried sick. Thank you for any help and best wishes to all who read and post here.
