Multiple lumps

Hi everyone, wandering if anyone has had a similar experience....so ive had multiple lumps in my body for well over a year. I've had a biopsy in my neck, 1 surgery to remove a lymph node and scans. I have multiple lumps in my neck and one at either side of my groin, and what feels like could be one in my tummy. I got told about a year ago that it wasn't anything serious which was great, and just to keep an eye. I never got a formal diagnosis of what could be wrong . More lumps have come up in my neck recently  and the ones on my groin are about 8 months old  it was a year of trying to get some kind of answer from the doctor to no achievement.

I dont know what they are , i kinda gave up going to the doctor as I know they would just say to monitor it . I get tired alot, and the ones in my neck sometimes make my neck feel really tight, almost crampy,  the lumps themselves don't hurt  they can be a bit tender if pushed too hard. I probably have about 4 in my neck, 2 in my groin and what feels to be one in my tummy  also small one on the back of my neck pea sized.

Has anyone had a similar experience ? Does anyone have any advice or what could be going on? Any advice at all to help me understand what is going on with my body, my neck is starting to bother me daily as it goes so tight it almost feels like I've pulled the muscles when I havnt  . I k ow its not right for me to have these unknown lumps,  but I'm just not sure what to do and can't take another let down from the doctor of "monitor it" ....could something have been missed? Somethi g new started ? I dont know,  any advice or similar experience is so very much appreciated.

  • When you had the neck biopsy what were your results? Mine was reactive . You should definitely go back if you are experiencing new lumps to get some reassurance

  • Layla, have you been back since and are you all ok now ?

  • Hey- I have spoken to the doctor multiple times - mainly on the phone due to COVID

they just say that it's nothing to worry about and if they get bigger fast then to call them - I tried to explain that the one in my groin is bigger and a lot more hard and round but they said because it's a lymph node they think it could be swollen if I've been exposed to any bugs or inflammation - I did try to politely say that they have been like this for years but the last few months the one in my groin is a lot harder -

think I'm fighting a losing battle to even get seen by a doctor about it - even the itching is worse ( probably not related ) but my skin just goes on fire especially after a shower or exposing to air

I'm not sure what to do - I've just been leaving it and keeping silent as every time I speak to the doctor they say don't worry everything's fine ( examined over the phone )

  • You really should go get it checked and almost force a biopsy test so then you will be 100% reassured.
