Been nearly 7 days since I had my colonoscopy, still have sharp stomach pains around each of my sides and middle of my back, still haven't opened my bowels, has anyone else experienced this before?
its normal for the bowel to take a few days to resume function after having been cleared out for a colonoscopy.l am also mindful that if you have a low daily food intake this will play a part and could lead to constipation,which it sounds like you may currently be "enjoying".Maybe a mild laxative may help things progress.l hope your colonoscopy was worth the effort and provided you with some positive answers,
im trying to eat abit more have no appetite at the moment, I'm assuming all the pains is gas pain, they also removed a sessile polyp which I'm preying is ok get the results in a few weeks
