2cm lump grown within 10days

Hello everyone,

I have been referred to breast unit after I found lump in left breast 3weeks ago - gp didn't feel the one I was concerned about but could feel swollen and very painful lymph node. 10days ago I found different lump just under the nipple which has grown very rapidly to 2cm.

Had mammogram, scan and biopsy done yesterday, the lymph node is looking OK, the 'original' lump not there but the new one which has grown so quickly is there of course. Today I can feel exactly the same lump in the other breast - nothing was seen yesterday there. Is it possible for a malignant tumour to grow within a week? The 2cm lump started growing around the ovulation. Has anyone had the same experience? So confusing and scared x
