I was a nervous wreak for a whole week before my appointment.I've had my gastroscopy done this morning and would do it again easily.

I had throat spray which wasn't that bad,it tasted like strong gin

I had sedation and didn't go dizzy or anything else that I thought I would feel.

 I can't even remember them putting tube in my throat,I remember a bit of gagging when it was actually in,but nothing like the gag reflex you get when not sedated.

Then 30 minutes rest and nice cup of tea and biscuits.

please don't worry about it, it's such an easy procedure.
