Biopsy mole results

Had mole removed by biopsy on Monday 23rd of November not even two weeks later I received a letter today saying I have an appointment on 4th of January is this bad news ? As I left after biopsy the doctor said if I get your results and they are clear I will ring you , this does not seem a good sign would they maybe not want to spoil my Xmas and tell me after

    I'm sorry to hear that you're waiting on the results of a biopsy. I know that this period of waiting can be particularly worrying and many people will feel anxious about the news they will receive. 

    During the current Covid19 pandemic the way results are given has changed and seems to continue to change regularly. A year ago it was very unusual for members to post to say they had been given results over the phone but now it is much more the norm. I don't think you can read anything into how quickly your results appointment has/hasn't come through and if it's face to face or by phone. 

    If you'd like to talk to one of our nurses for some support and reassurance then you're welcome to call them. They're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040.

    i understand everything is so different today , but as I left doctors office she said I will ring you if you have a clear result ? But now I have received a letter to say I have an appointment on the 4th of January so I'm thinking is it not a clear result as I've been given an appointment instead and she didn't call , I really don't know so confused
