2nd Breast Biopsy and scared

I went for a check last week and expecting to go for a half-hour appointment, 3 mammograms, 1 scan, several biopsies, and 4 hours later I find out that there is a suspicious mass on my right breast that I knew nothing about.  I have had my call today ref the results and was toltd that the biopsy report does not match with what they saw, so now have to go for a second larger biopsy.  I hate the not knowing and the waiting.  I expected the call to be a It's all clear call, but t wasn't that at all :-(

Feeling very anxious and struggling to concentrate

    I'm sorry to hear that you've recently been for an appointment at breast clinic and that you need a second biopsy. I know that many of the ladies here on the forum will understand how difficult and frustrating this period of waiting for results can be and to now have to wait again - well I can imagine how anxious you're feeling. 

    Sometimes it can help to talk to someone about your concerns and fears and so I'd really recommend giving our team of nurses a call. I'm sure they will be able to offer you some support and reassurance whilst you're still waiting for news. They're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040.

    Hi Jenn,

    Thank you for your reply.  I have got my 2nd appointment for the more invasive biopsy on Friday.  So I will keep you posted.

    My friend (who had BC) is coming to see me tonight to have a chat and my friends and family are being amazing.  In fact, my boss is being fantastic too.

    I am trying to be as positive as possible about it all especially in front of my husband and children, but inside I am fretting.
