Hi..

I had a linear melanonychia on my great toe. It developed over a period of 6 months, line git thicker and nail appears to be lfted. New nail which was growing below it also has same line. I am 34 and otherwise fit and heathy

i got it biopsied 3 weeks ago and I was told that I will get a call about biopsy result. Instead of a phone call I have received an appointment with  consultant specialist bcc nurse. This ppointment is in late January.

what does this mean?
why am i reffereed  to bcc nurse specifically instead of general dermat (who adviced or carried out biospy) or GP with an follow up appointment. Can I get to know my results?

I will be thankful if someone could advice me with this.
