Thyroid lumps

I have found this forum and feel a bit more comforted by reading the posts-its really tough to suddenly realise that I might have cancer...never thought it would happen to me etc. Been too busy looking after others to worry about myself, especially this year.

 

I have a very enlarged thryoid. Its been here for 20 years plus but this year it decided to grow and now affects my swallowing. I have had bloods and a scan. Now an urgent needle biopsy 6 days after my scan. I have read so much about throid cancer. Bit if a worrying time.

    I'm sorry to hear that you have an enlarged thyroid and that this is causing you to be concerned, but I'm glad that reading our forum has brought some comfort to you.
