I'm sorry to hear that you found a lump under your armpit and that this is, understandably, making you worried but I'm glad you took charge and made an appointment to have it seen by a doctor.

As many of our members here can tell you, Googling your symptoms is never a good idea as you can go from a simple cold to something severe in a matter of a few clicks with Dr Google, so try to prevent doing that if you can.

You mentioned you had your appointment scheduled for today and I hope all goes well for you. Once you know more please come back to give us an update, we're keeping our fingers crossed this lump will be nothing sinister.
