Hi everyone new here.
2.5 weeks ago I had a laparoscopy to remove a 6cm endometrial cyst and my ovary. The surgery took 3 hours as it turns out it was attached in my Pouch of Douglas so they had to cut it out.
When I was discharged from hospital no one said much about how it went but also didn't imply they had found anything worse...
Anyway today I got a letter from the hospital saying they had booked me in for a thorax, abdomen and pelvis CT scan next week.... No explanation why!!
A few hours later the hospital rang and said I need to see the consultant about my results.
Clearly the cyst has not come back as being benign and those kind of CT scans are often used to check for cancer.
So 2+2= I'm terrified.
I know no one can help or advise me but I'm going to have to go in alone to the hospital tomorrow and try and deal with it myself due to covid regulations :(
Not only has this year been difficult mentally with everything going on but now this. No Happy Christmas for me as I will no doubt be waiting on the results from the scan.
Its really hard to be positive right now.
I just need to vent I guess. Thank you.
