Terrified. Referred for colonoscopy after small lumps found

I've been referred to Colrectal department for a colonoscopy as Gp found 2 small lumps during rectal exam today. She said it could be something or nothing!

Bloods and FIT test all been normal but over last 2 weeks had 2 x PR bleed with lower back pain and abdominal discomfort (esp on R) im absolutely terrified!

I'm sorry about the lumps that were found during your GP appointment but it's reassuring that your other tests have come back with good results.
Being referred is always a tad daunting but if you can, try not to jump to any conclusions until you've got the results of the colonoscopy. I'm not sure if you've had this done before but if you haven't we have some information about this procedure on our website.
