I'm feeling very scared right now. I had a nail infection of my right index finger, and it had a faint dark vertical line going through it at the time. Doctor told me it was a fungal infection, so I took so Amorolfine (nail lacquer) to treat it for 6 months. After a while whilst still taking medication, the nail looked a lot worse, and it's appearance is ugly. I now have to see a dermatologist for a biopsy and I feel so scared that it could be something more sinister. The lacquer definately made it look worse.
