Little worried. 25 weeks pregnant and found breast lump

I 37 and 25 weeks pregnant.

A few weeks ago I found a small lump about the size of a pea under my left breast. After a few days it seemed to be done.

Last night I've found it again and it's a bit bigger, painful and does not move.

Being pregnant I know breasts go through many changes so have a little reluctance to see the Dr's. Also reluctant as I never see the Dr's but have been back and forth this pregnancy with kidney infections and after an ultrasound 2 weeks ago am awaiting a referral to urology for an abnormality in one kidney.

I think as a result I have the fear a bit more. I know I need to see the Dr's, I'm thinking give it a day or so as it may just disappear again like last time.

Any reassurances would be welcomed

  • Hi Caye,

Welcome to Cancer Chat and congratulations on your pregnancy. I think with what you mention here, it's always best to speak to your GP with any concerns. Even if it's a case of getting some assurances or peace of mind, it's always best to see what they think - so, if you haven't already, do give them a call.

    Wishing you all the best,
