breast lump with pain and bloody discharge

hi, I was referred to the breast clinic in May 2019, with a small peasized breast lump, at that time it didn't hurt, and I had no other symptoms.  The mammogram & the ultrasound showed - nothing!  I was confused, as how can it be 'normal glandular tisse', if there is a lump.  However, I was happy and relieved with the result.

Fastforward to three weeks ago, and the area around the lump became really painful and swallen, and the lump appeared sligtly enlarged.  There was also a clear discharge from the nipple.  The GP surgery said that it appeared like inflammation of a cyst (but why didn't they diagnose it as a cyst 18 months ago?), and gave me a weekly course of antibiotics.  However, I was referred to the breast clinic to be seen within two weeks, due to the symptoms.  The antibiotics appeared to have worked to begin with, however, the symptoms came back on the last day.  Two days later I had discharge from my nipple which appeared bloody.

Ever since then, I have been really worried, and my appointment at the breast clinic is coming in a few days time.  I read that bloody discharge and painful lump are rarely sign of cancer - but can be! And how can a lump described as 'normal glandular tissue' now be a cyst.  I am confused and worried....
