Hi everyone. 
 

I had a smear at the beginning of the month(my 4th one, previous have been fine). It came back (quickly) with HPV showing and borderline changes. 
 

When I had it done, I mentioned I had had a little bit of spotting between periods/after sex, and a bit of pain. Which is new to me (started periods age 9, am now 35, regular as clockwork bar a brief stint with the hormonal implant!) 

I was told to come back (even if smear was fine) if things got worse. While awaiting my colposcopy app, I began getting quite a lot of pain in my lower abdomen and also I guess where my kidneys are- which reminded me I had struggled with that in August on holiday. My left kid was area felt painfully sore even to thought the skin. But it went away. 
 

so I saw the gp again on Tuesday. She examined me. She said my cervix looked red (?!), but also she could feel my womb when pressing externally. She said you shouldn't be able to, and it's 'enlarged'. She took bloods, pregnancy test (I've had 3 kids), STD swabs and referred me for a scan. 
 

ive yet to have my colposcopy app or my scan (got the apps through and both within the 2 week path way). CA125 came back at 22 so ok. 
 

lower back is still very painful and pelvic area. I've been feeling ropey for the past 18 months really, and a scan on a swollen neck lymph node which I guess I thought was just my immune system taking a hit. 
 

My maternal aunt had cervical cancer when I was a child and I lost my mum to lung cancer 3 years ago so I suppose this is on my mind .

Could this be the thing I'm dreading? Has anyone been told they have an enlarged womb?!
