Mri scan of head and neck results still outstanding 6 wks

I have had unilateral pulsating tinnitus since February this year . My MRI/MRA only got done on 01/10/20 but I'm still waiting for my consultant to report on it . In the meantime I have been asked to attend for a Petrous  bone scan in 2 weeks time. I'm just fed up of ringing the consultants secretary and getting nowhere. 
The secretary is very cagey . I asked if the fact that I haven't been told anything by now means all is well but they told me they can't comment. 
Should I be worried ?

    I can it can difficult but try not to worry, as it only increases anxieties. As you know, the pandemic has increased demand on health services so there may be some delay. And if there's no information, it can be hard for the secretary to comment. I understand your frustration, but it is still worth chasing up.

    I hope you find out more soon and all the best for the upcoming bone scan.
