Hope everyone is keeping well.
I am having an ultrasound soon as I have found a small painless lump near my right axilla whilst in the shower over a month ago.
Just wondering if anyone has had the same thing?
Thanks

Hi Tig
I’ve just replied to your comment on another post. I’ve recently (10 days ago) had an ultrasound & biopsies on my right axillary lymph nodes as they were found to be very enlarged during an MRI for something totally unrelated. I haven’t had any results yet, hopefully this week sometime.
Hi CTown109
Thanks for your reply.
Fingers crossed for your results and hope you don't have to wait too much longer for them, the waiting is the absolute worst.
Could you feel the enlarged node?
Thanks
Hi Tig
Strangely enough, I didn’t feel it, although I can now. The MRI (for suspected gallstones, which they found also), mentioned bilateral enlarged lymph nodes but specifically pointed out a very large one on the right. That was the one the biopsies were taken from. The radiographer told me the results would take a week but from experience (I work in the NHS), I think they normally take slightly longer.
Try not to worry too much about the biopsy itself, it is relatively quick & painless.
Good luck
Thanks for replying.
Yeah I have seen people saying they are taking about 2 weeks to come back, I'm feeling much better about the appointment now from this forum.
Hope it all goes well with your results
