It has now been just over 7 weeks since my breast clinic referral was made! I phoned the referral centre the other day to be told that people waiting on the type of appointment I need are sometimes waiting up to 10 weeks! 10 weeks! I'm just dumbfounded.
Bit of a back story I found an indentation on my right breast 7 weeks ago, I can only see it when I lift my arm as it's right at the bottom of my breast pretty much where my bra sits is where it starts. 2 weeks after finding this I found out I was pregnant, sadly this ended in a miscarriage. I just feel so frustrated and angry that people are waiting this long for an appointment. In the run up to Christmas I want to feel happy and excited and I just cannot do that. My partner and I were devastated at the loss of the pregnancy and would love nothing more than to try again but we can't until I've had this appointment. I feel so deflated. In this time I've been waiting I have been Googling and I can find no positive outcomes of those who have had a breast indentation.
Has anyone who has found an indentation in their breast gone on to find out that it was benign?
Also is it just my area in which people are waiting up to 10 weeks to get an appointment for the breast clinic?
