Breast biopsy done

Just wanted to post to help reassure anyone waiting for a breast biopsy who may be nervous, 

 

Yesterday I had my biopsies done, met with the doctor and had a quick chat then he had me lie down on the bed after taking my too clothes off, He chatted me through the procedure and made sure I was ready.

 

I have to say I didn't even feel him do the local anesthetic! He took 3 biopsies ( I have a lump and skin thickening) which didn't hurt but were a bit strange feeling, I bled a while but the nurse was amazing and cleaned me up.

 

Barely sore at all today and I have my results appointment in 2 weeks!

    Thanks for this it's very reassuring as I am awaiting a ultrasound at the breast clinic and I have been told that they may need to do a biopsy as well.
