Hi,

The breast clinic will be really thorough, it's so well organised. I was totally surprised that everything was done quickly and very smoothly. I also googled and scared myself so probably best not to do that any more! xx

Hi,

yes of course, when I first arrived I waited to see the consultant, he asked a few questions, examined me with a nurse there and he decided I should have a mammogram...so I was sent back to the waiting area and then called for the mammogram (they do both breasts). 
Then back to the waiting area. I was then called to have an ultrasound where they scanned breast and underarm. It was decided then that they would do a biopsy of my breast lump and I'd have to go back 3 days later to do the underarm biopsy.
They really don't say anything, or give you any clue as I supposed they don't know themselves. 
At the end of all that I saw the consultant again and he was borderline concerned which doesn't really tell me anything! Anyway he gave me a date for the results appointment. Approx 8-10 days but they have called me today asking to see me earlier (which they did say was quite normal).

So tomorrow I find out the results of the biopsy's and what the next steps are. 
Trying desperately to keep busy!

hope your appointment well!

I just got back from my appointment and they said everything looked fine and given my age should be ok. He did take a biopsy just to be sure which has made me abit nervous!
