                unfortunately it looks like the cancer has spread to the lung.Your grandmother would be offered the choice of treatment because it would not be assumed that she would wish to undergo what might be a gruelling treatment on a cancer that has spread with her age possibly being a factor.There will cases where a shorter but better quality of life might be considered a better option.

                                                                                                                                      l am so sorry for your distress, but everything will be much clearer after the consultation, right now it is all ifs and maybe's, and the natural tendency is to look at the bleakest scenario,which may not prove to be the case,
