I have to say can not fault the service once i finally got a gp app.

Had a mamo this Monday as i was concerned about tenderness in right breast. After a gp app last week

They called me bk weds with an area of concern in left breast instead and i was booked in today.

3d mamo everything looked normal so ultrasound was just to make sure but then found something concerning then so just back from a core biopsy.

Theyve booked me in for weeks time for results

Question is if ultrasound picked up something mamo didnt why did they not look at the other breast too?

Not only do i have a week of worry re results but now concerned re other breast.

Hello Filmbuffy,
What a stressful time it must be for you as you are waiting for results. Try and just take one day at a time if you can and to keep busy, distracted and well away from the famously unreliable Dr Google - it won't be long now before you have some answers. Since you are concerned about your other breast, I think it would be a good idea to bring this up with your medical team when you next see them or when you have your appointment. Do mention that you are feeling concerned about this and I am sure they will be able to explain things for you and to tell you whether further investigations also need to be carried out on the other breast.
