Letter for telephone appt for results

Hey,

Had tests done on Monday, they said results will take a week. Got my letter today with a telephone apppointment for Monday at 15:15 for results from lyphnode and breat lump.

Is it normal for a telephone all with results? Is this because of COVID, has anyone had the same thing?

My husband had his test results over the phone when he had a biopsy on his lung it was so i could be with him as we had it on speaker phone stoped him getting the results by himself as partners can't go with you in hospital at the moment with covid

Thank you for getting back to me, I hope your husbands results were a good outcome!

ah that makes sense, they let my fiancé sit in the waiting room on Monday but did say he wasn't aloud in consult rooms.

I was wondering if they still give bad test results over the phone.
