I’m 23 and have PCOS. In August I was worried about excessive discharge and itching. Got told I had ectropion by gynaecology at the hospital but that it was fine and to just get smears when I was able, my swab came back normal. I don’t have periods because of the PCOS. I took Provera at the end of September (which stimulates a bleed) and had a period. 2 weeks after my period finished I was getting light slippery pink/red discharge for a few days which stopped. This was 3-4 weeks ago. Today I noticed really dark brown sticky blood/discharge. I've had lower back pain for a couple of days and my vagina is aching. I’m absolutely petrified now thinking the worst. Endometrial/cervical cancer... especially since people with PCOS are much more likely to get it. I never bleed without Provera I haven’t for years, so this is new for me. I can’t speak to my doctor till tomorrow and I’m spiralling with anxiety! How do you keep calm whilst waiting?
