I have been under investigations for weeks for possible IBD, I was admitted to hospital last week due to severe pains, they performed a sigmoidoscopy, took biopsies and did an MRI scan. I was discharged on Fri and told I would get the results this week but they said with what they saw on the camera that it isn't as simple as IBD. I have just recieved a phonecall asking me to go in to see the consultant tomorrow for my results but they asked me on the phone if I would be taking someone with me as they wanted to make sure I wasn't going alone, I am now worrying myself silly.
