Hello,

I was sent to the breast clinic as an urgent referral. I have very (new) lumpy breast with pain. I also have a history of melanoma.

I had a mammogram which was clear then went for an ultrasound. The sonograper asked me where the lumps were and only scanned that area. The whole procedure lasted less than a minute before the sonographer got up and said yes there're fine and walked out.

I would have thought that both breasts and their lymph nodes should be checked and that all cysts should be scanned to check that the fluid looks normal?

id appreciate some professional advice as I don't feel reassured at all.
