Abnormal lymph nodes on ultrasound

Hi my child had an infection in the lymph nodes (lymphadenitis) they did an ultrasound and it showed abnormal lymph nodes. They are treating the infection first but have to go back in for a repeat ultrasound to see if they are stil abnormal. If they are then need biopsy and mri has anyone's child had this?

They have mentioned lymphoma but they have also said they could just appear like that because of the infection, it's difficult to know.

    I can imagine you must be really worried about your little one. I hope that the infection goes away quickly and that you won't have to wait too long for the repeat ultrasound and that things have settled now after the infection was treated. I am keeping everything crossed for you. 

    I hope that you will hear from others here who also have a child who has been through this before. I am keeping everything crossed for you that everything turns out to be nothing to worry about.
