Breast biopsy with implant

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have experience of having a breast biopsy with an (elective) implant? I am scheduled to have a biopsy next week and know the hospital will talk about the risks of having the needle biopsy and I will have to consent to having it done. Just wondered if anyone has experience of this that they could share with me?

Hi Sunshine

I have breast implants and I had a biopsy done yesterday. I had to sign a consent form but as far as I’m aware, you would have to do that anyway.

Hello,

Thanks for replying, hope you are ok after yesterday? Did you have a needle biopsy? How was it?

I'm scared about the risk of having the biopsy and the risk of not having it too x
