So a week ago I found a swollen node on the side of my neck and it hasn't changed (not sure how long that has been there). I went to my gp who said there are other swollen ones and to give it a few weeks as its something they see in a viral infection but I've not had any colds or anything to explain them. I just had a private ultrasound and the lady doing it said that they are all 5mm or less in width and she sees nothing abnormal. But my question is, is this enough? I  feel reassured but I don't know if I can fully relax as there seems to be no explanation to them being swollen. I'm due for a full blood count anyway so should I ask for a referral just in case?
