Two nipple biopsies

Hi my mam was just in for mammogram today she had a biopsy done.they found large hard growth in breast.she had biopsy on nipple done too

We have to go back in a week to a the consultant for another nipple biopsy and results. Has anyone had two nipple biopsies. Please excuse my ignorance.i am just sick with worry .the consultant said it looks very suspicious.

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. I know this must be a difficult time for you both as the uncertainty and waiting for further information is never easy. I'm not too sure of of the reasons for the second biopsy - perhaps it is for confirmation purposes, or perhaps it's in a different area.

    I hope it's not too long to wait until you find out more about this.
