Hi everyone,

I am 44, I had a mole that appeared on my breast  just on the outskirts of my nipple approx 1 year or so ago, that has grown quite large, it's a bit smaller than a 5 pence piece. It's raised and uneven, plus the colouring differs. Just to the side of the mole is a hard round lump about the size of a lentil, I found the lump a few months ago, it's not disappeared. I have a telephone consultation with my GP tomorrow. I've not told my husband or family or friends, as I don't wish to worry anyone. 
 
If I'm referred for a mammogram does anyone know how long the wait it, especially during the Covid pandemic Also how long do you have to wait for the results ????
