Lump under chin

So my daughter who is 21 has developed a lump under her chin started off a small lump a few days ago yesterday it was big today it looks like she has 3 chins. Couldn't get through to the doctor this morning. It's painful when I touch it, it's swollen and it stretches across her neck now. I've read all sorts on line and don't know whether to panic or not. Of course I am because I'm her mum. I'm reading lymphomas and cancers all kinds of words. She's completely freaked out and I'm trying to remain calm. Does it sound scary to anyone?

  • Hello Sbur

I hope that your daughter has been able to speak to her GP by now. It's understandable that you were feeling concerned about her. Unfortunately searching for information online often increases anxieties so do try to give Google a wide berth if you can.

If you've not been able to speak to her GP then you could speak with a local pharmacist or use the NHS 111 service for some advice.

I hope that she has some answers and that things improve soon.

    Best wishes,
