Hi All, I'm new here.. I'm 52 and perimenopausal (apparently) have had internal scan and an initial hysteroscopy and today had the above. I've had very heavy bleeding on and off for around 4 or 5 months following a dry spell of about 3 months. Ignored it at the time as I was having plastic surgery for a BCC on my lip (all gone now ♡ ) My tests so far have shown 8mm uterine thickness with a polyp like appearance all over. So now waiting for the results of a full biopsy of more of the uterus which is very scary. They've removed all the lining. I didn't get any feedback from the surgeon today so am assuming that I just wait for the biopsy reults? Any advice or experience would be gladly received as aim in a quiet panic!!
