Just reaching out to try and put your mind at ease. There is a family history with my family too. I attended action cancer from the age of 30 yrs many people were much younger you were expected to make a voluntary payment if you could afford it. I got checked every couple of years. You could think of that in the future. But for now. Lots of women produce milk. It's due to a hormone imbalance. My friend did for years. You are right to get the lump checked. Dont be anxious about going. They r always very nice. They normally do a physical exam checking for lumps and bumps.  If they think it is necessary u will have a mammogram. It's all done quickly. Hi guys just though I give you an update I went to the doctors on the 28th of October she has referred me to the breast clinic but I'm still waiting for an appointment as they are very behind the waiting is killing me so much and I have noticed that in my right armpit I still have the original lump and now a new one and on my left side I have a new one there too and you can see it as it sticks out so much. I'm so scared it's affecting everything in my life. My mum even called up to see how much it was to go private to speed things up but it's soo much money that we don't have

Sorry to hear you're still waiting for your appointment. I've got mine on Friday, where abouts in the country are you? 

I feel nervous about mine and I keep checking my lump and I sometimes feel it's grown or there's other lumps there and I also get odd sensations in the lump and arm. All I can say is, I'm going to try to stop feeling it as it doesn't help. The waiting is so difficult. I'm trying to keep busy and I'm also keeping my phone out of sight most of the day so I don't keep googling as that doesn't help either. I'm trying to just control the things I can e.g. eating well, trying to exercise, trying not to get too stressed and then letting go of what I can't control which is what happens at the appointment and what it is. It's easier said than done and I am finding it more difficult as the appointment looms closer.

Just try and keep things in perspective as much as possible, that more lumps/symptoms are non-cancerous than are especially in your 20s. Even if it is something, I've read so many positive stories of women who have gone through it and out the other side. Most posts I've read though it turns out to be nothing serious. 

Try and look after yourself and keep busy as much as possible. Sending positive thoughts xx
