I just wanted to post on here to see if anyone else has experienced anything similar to my situation - it's such a stressful time and I'm going a bit crazy waiting!

I found a lump on my right breast a few weeks ago, never noticed anything like this before so immediately saw my GP about it. She referred me to the breast clinic and I had my first appointment last week - the consultant seemed to think it was a fibroadenoma from the initial check but referred me for an ultrasound anyway (I'm 26 FYI). They did the ultrasound but then said they were also going to do a fine needle biopsy which I wasn't expecting at all, so I was in a lot of shock/distress! I went back today to get my results and they were inconclusive and I've got to go for a further core biopsy next week. It's just so frustrating waiting and not knowing, I'm going a bit crazy worrying about it and thinking the absolute worst, and I feel like I have noone to talk to about it either.

Has anyone had a similar sort of experience? Are inconclusive biopsy results normal?! Any advice would be much appreciated and if anyone wants a chat in general feel free to reply!
