Worried after FNA of lymph nodes

Hi

I'm not really sure why I'm here. Before my Fine needle aspiration this morning I wasn't concerned. Now I am!

I went to my go 2 weeks ago after pressure from family to get a lump in my neck checked. It was thought this was my thyroid, however today it was discovered to be a lymph node.

All lymph nodes in my neck are enlarged only this one is 2-3cms. The consultant radiographer said this is usually down to infection but my lumps been there months and doesn't seem to link to any illness. The radiographer wasn't really able to put my mind at rest at all. He said it could be more sinister but will only know with the results. I expected to be put at ease but I'm not really worried!

My GP has already ran bloods which all came back normal.

is there any other reason for one very enlarged and all other lymph nodes to be enlarged?

thanks
