i'm currently waiting for an ultrasound for neck lumps and am terrified so I know how you're feeling! However, I had a similar thing to you a couple of months ago - a noticable dent and a lump (im 22). Went to the docs, urgent referral etc and they messed it up so I waited 8 weeks altogether. Turns out it was just my breast tissue and that the way it sits causes that dent, nothing to worry about. Google however will tell you nothing good. I hope all goes well for you, try to stay calm!

Thank you for your reassurance, it's nice to hear a positive experience as I'm so terrified. I'm covered in bruises from poking and prodding so much. I'm still waiting for my referral.. almost two weeks have passed already xx

I've finally had my appointment come through for the 8th December at 10am. It has taken five weeks and a lot of tears over the phone to get to this point. I know if I hadn't had a break down on the phone to the breast clinic that my wait would be even longer. Anybody else due to be seen next week? Xx

Hi zaraaa im sorry to read that your worried about the findings with your breast  and the waiting and covid hasn't helped the situation 

I to had this worry back in Maty I found a lump in.my right breast ,and it tool me two weeks of prodding myself to pluck.up.tbe courage to.go.to my doctor  so I do sympathise with you as I know how  much worrying you do whilst waiting to be seen . Its normaly a urgent 2ww refferal, that's what mine was. 

Mine turned out to be breast cancer  but it diesnt always turn out to be cancer. There have been many posts on here where people have posted the same kinda thing as yoi hsve and its turned out to be a cyst or something else but not cancer.  I know its hard ,but try to stay positive, wishing you all.the best for a positive outcome . Im never if you need to let of steam. Xx

ALL CLEAR! Before my ultrasound, the consultant examined me and said my breasts were completely normal. Had my ultrasound of breast and armpit and all clear. Very very relieved.
