Hi, I'm currently freaking out, about six months ago I had a bout of painful heartburn along with discomfort when swallowing, which I was prescribed omeprazole, then a last week it started again in which my doctor has referred me for an endoscopy. I'm now freaking out the I have oesophageal cancer as I've looked up what it could be online. My mum was diagnosed with salivary glad cancer when she was 45 which she overcome for a couple of years but the cancer came back in other areas and we lost her 3 years ago. I can't seem to get it out of my head that this is going to happen to me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
