Hi

I've been having irregular bleeding for the last year, where I'm on my period for 6 weeks at a time and large clots, which I have mostly put down to weight/hormones and possibly having PCOS. 
 

Over the last 2 months the bleeding has been almost non stop and also after sex. Plus I've noticed some other symptoms which have made me worried. 
 

I have booked in privately to see an Gynaecologist next week, but I worried how they will review my cervix while I'm bleeding so heavily? Has anyone had anything similar and what happens at the appointments? I'm worried if they can't examine me while bleeding I could be waiting a long time and I feel in constant worry at what's wrong.
