Seriously concerned. Just been advised that post MRI scan a cancer to my prostate exists and swollen lymph nodes. Advised that the biopsy is 3 weeks time and treatment after that. This seems like an eternity. Am I being unreasonable.
Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to read about what you're going through at the moment - I know this may be a difficult time while you wait to hear more. Three weeks will probably feel like a long time but overall it's not too long to wait, especially given some of the waiting times for people in general at the moment. If you're concerned though, do speak to your doctor to either see if it can be sped up, or to get some reassurance that the wait time isn't too bad.
In the meantime, try to keep yourself busy to help take your mind off things as much as possible, as this can often help.
