Hi, my name is Joshua and I have had some odd symptoms:
Starting in late 2018 I started having a full body itch. It generally started at night in my head and after a few hours spread to my feet, lower legs, groin and eventually everything else. It got progressively worse to the point I could no longer do anything without scracthing constantly. I went to see my Family Doctor and was referred to an Allergy specialist in January, 2019. She said, with absolute confidence, that this was absolutely not related to allergies and had no leads. She prescriped a strong anti histamine drug and I have been taking that daily ever since. If I forget to take it for one morning, the crazy itch returns in a few hours.
During all this period, I have had blood work that comes back normal, except for occasional spikes in my iron. I have also on occasion felt lumps in my underarm that go and come sometimes (not so frequent). More recently, starting a week ago, I constantly feel like there is something stuck in my throat, like something inflammed in there. Its not major, but perceptible enough so that I notice it constantly. I also tend to wake up on most nights with my t-shirt a bit wet (I do sleep with heavy covers, so not sure this is an issue). Another thing I have is occasional sharp pains (in different parts of body, always what feels like bone deep), that last a few seconds then go away. Always in new places. Doctors dont know what I have, so Im starting to beleive that to be honest maybe Im some sort of hypocondriac.
Recently was refered to a surgeon that wants to run a scan of my chest (end of next month). He mentioned he is suspicous of a lymphoma, since he had a similar itchy case previously. Does anyone have any story to share? Should I be concerned?
New today: pain on left upper abdomen, right under ribs. This lasted all day, and looks swollen from the outside too.
