I had an MRI for a knee injury and a small lump was found. An ultrasound confirmed the lump is in the deep fibres of the lateral gastrocnemius origin (the top of the calf muscle) it is solid but doesn't look like a lymph node. 
I am being referred to Tertiary team. 
anyone else had this? I can't feel the lump. It's 12 x 9 x 7 mm so only small.
