I have had a part of my thyroid removed due to cancerous spot and now 18 months later I have this sensation of something stuck in my throat plus a painful ear and a taste of eating a sour sweet in my mouth .I am waiting for an ENT appointment .
Welcome to Cancer Chat! It's good that you have had this issue looked at and I hope it won't be long now before you get your ENT appointment. I can imagine it must be a very stressful time for you while waiting to be seen.
Waiting for important appointments like this one can be a really stressful experience. I know it is really hard but try not to worry too much or anticipate what it might be. The best thing to do to avoid thinking too much about this is to keep busy and distracted if you can and avoid looking things up online. I can imagine it is hard for you to do this at the moment but it will help you feel a little less anxious.
