Waiting for biopsy-feeling overly emotional about everything

I posted at the start of the week as I had a biopsy and am waiting until 30th for the results. Whilst waiting I've found that I am incredibly emotional about everything. Watching television, things that wouldn't normally upset me I find myself crying over, for example a mum being proud of her daughter on a programme brings me to tears. Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks

  • I think many of our members will agree that how you're feeling at the moment is completely normal and understandable as waiting for results is always tough.

Hopefully some of them will offer their support and advice on how to get through the next 5 days but whilst you wait I hope this article I've found will help.

Fingers crossed for good news on the 30th Victoria.

  • Thank you Steph, I had called the hospital several times hoping the results had come in early. I got a call yesterday from the consultant, she knew how worried I had been so as soon as the results came back she called me to tell me that the results came back as benign. A real weight has been lifted. I still have to go for my appointment on the 30th as still having issues but at least I have had these positive results.
    thank you x
